** **About the Client
** Our client is an indie game development studio passionate about creating unique gaming experiences, currently working on a 2.5D action game featuring dimension-bending traversal and energetic combat mechanics. They're busy focusing on game development as they prepare for an upcoming Kickstarter campaign and early access launch. They need support establishing their marketing presence and handling administrative tasks to ensure a successful game launch.

** Our client needs this role to manage their social media presence, marketing initiatives, and administrative tasks, allowing their development team to focus on creating the best possible game. They need someone to build brand awareness, grow their online community, and establish systems for consistent outreach ahead of their Kickstarter campaign, while also ensuring smooth operations by handling tax paperwork and administrative coordination.

**The Impact you’ll make

** **Social Media Management
**


* Create and implement a content strategy for Instagram, Discord, and Twitter


* Design basic graphics and engaging posts to showcase game features and development updates


* Grow our follower base and engagement across platforms


* Establish foundation systems for consistent social media posting



**Marketing & PR Support
**


* Assist with planning and executing PR campaigns


* Liaise with marketing companies like CSC Global and Strangely Compelling


* Create and manage email newsletters to grow our subscriber base


* Support Kickstarter and early access preparations



**Website Management
**


* Assist with the redevelopment of the company website


* Update website content to reflect current game development progress


* Ensure newsletter signup functionality is optimized



**Administrative Support
**


* Manage tax paperwork and forms for the studio


* Handle communication with service providers


* Organize and maintain digital files and documents




**Measure of Success
**


* Establishment of functioning systems for social media and newsletter management within the first 30 days


* Growth in social media following and engagement metrics across platforms


* Increased newsletter subscriber count and open rates




**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

** **Required:
**


* Prior experience managing social media accounts for business purposes


* Basic graphic design skills for creating social media content


* Experience with email marketing and newsletter creation


* Strong written communication skills


* Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision


* WFH Set-Up:


* Computer with at least 8GB RAM, an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and up.


* Internet speed of at least 40MBPS


* Headset with an extended mic that has noise cancellation and a webcam


* Back-up computer and internet connection


* Quiet, dedicated workspace at home

**Working Hours:

* Monday to Friday, flexible working within PST business hours (Pacific Standard Time) **_(but some availability (at least 1 hour per day) during PST business hours required for meetings and team syncs)_**
